The purpose of this online program is to teach, re-teach, and strengthen my students' math fact fluency skills in an entertaining, engaging, video game-like format. I secured a one-year, one-time educator grant for the program last year, and my students loved it! More importantly, the growth in their mastery of math facts was amazing! They were begging and pleading to spend time in Reflex Math every day that they walked through my door. They were even spending time in the program at home. Not only does this program improve my students' fact fluency, it also builds up confidence in their math application skills, which is priceless. They are able to quickly recall math facts in the process of completing multi-step word problems and application activities. They are rewarded with points, avatar options, and other rewards. They have personal choice of the practice games that they can play. It's a wonderful program that gives students who struggle an extra boost in these foundational skills and a sense of accomplishment that they frequently lack.
