The iPad and Apple Pencil would open up my teaching as a special education math teacher. My students need continuous practice with problems and the ability to write them down on the iPad with the Apple pen would support their education. In the Long Beach Unified School District we are doing distance online learning until January 28th, so this technology would be useful for distance learning. The technology would let me annotate in real time to the students, which would help with the conceptual understanding of the content. For students with learning disabilities it is crucial to review content in all learning modalities.

About my class
