Document cameras make a huge impact in student's lives. This camera will allow the students to read my entire classroom library online while they are at home. The camera will also be used to scan in books and be placed in our online classroom library. This will enable students to have access to books. My students live in an area of Chicago that is hard hit by COVID 19. This virus does not allow many students to leave their homes without the risk of contracting this virus. This document camera will increase student equity with education, and allow them an increase in educational opportunity. Many of my students are visual learners. This camera will also assist in demonstrating proper note taking for every class. This camera allows them to see visual demonstrations of science experiments that are following the curriculum. The camera will also demonstrate reader's theater to demonstrate what is happening in books that we are reading in class. Overall this camera will allow my students to get excited about reading, learn to their individual ability and become readers.
