The gifted STEM project will assist with providing support and academic success to students. This population requires a positive outlet for support. The STEM project will provide an outlet to assist with strengths and talents and illustrates the student's own creativity. During gifted, our class has special breakout sessions and space maker time. This STEM project will add depth and complexity to the student’s environment. Gifted students are superior when it comes to creative ideas. Construction and design will help develop multiple skills and functionality of concepts. As the student builds confidence working within their group, the interconnections made, really shape what our instruction is all about! The confidence that this project will build assists: with self-acceptance, excitement about learning, and striving for success. This is so important for our rural community and helping our students think outside the box.
