Supplying new equipment for students will allow students to learn with the most current and modern tools of the trades. The current inventory of items in my program are old and in need of repair or replacement, which also make some of the items unsafe for use. Through the course of the year, students will learn the basics of construction and carpentry. They will build items such as tool boxes, bird houses and eventually larger projects like a tiny house or similar type project as we are permitted to get into group settings.
