Learning at home can be challenging for any students. My students are special education students who are trying to overcome many challenges during these trying times. Having a distraction free learning experience is VITAL for my students. One of the overwhelming difficulties they experience regularly is being easily distracted and having a hard time concentrating. Imagine how difficult it must be trying to learn in their kitchen while their siblings are on virtual school and their parents are going about their business around them. Having noice canceling headphones will provide the needed boost they require to stay focused on their lessons. In addition, having all the materials they need to take notes, keep track of assignments, and write their work, all will help them learn more efficiently and effectively. Organization is another challenge many of my students face. Having a container to house all their school supplies will enable them to stay on top of their work and be able to transition into learning mode easily.
