The magnetic letters are useful for writing because students who have a difficult time writing can use the letters as an accommodation. We are able to play with them to work on following direction. Also, we have been able to use the Lego sets when doing Geometry related work. And students notice! They notice the way they feel when they are in a space that was created with them in mind. A few students have made positive comments about the mural on the wall, and one has even utilized her break in our room to draw the mountain image on the mural.
