I am a new teacher to my school and do not have a desk or a working filing cabinet. Being without basic organization needs I am struggling to make sure my students are getting what they need. I find that the more organized I am, the better teacher I am. These items will help me keep organized to be a better teacher. Not having a desk, chair, or working filing cabinet has lead to fatigue and frustration. As a military spouse, I also find that having a working filing cabinet will allow me to keep student information private. I will also keep my personal information private. Students will benefit from having a teacher who's space is organized by having well planned and engaging lessons. Notebooks and dry erase kits will allow my students to have what they need in class. Pencil organizers will help keep their materials at their fingertips and ready to learning.
