Have a variety of topics to read about in the classroom will encourage students to read. They find that they are interested in something that they did not know anything about. They may want to change their path in life. Create activities and projects that the students will work on in the classroom based on books and lessons i find on line. They will be able to use the materials at home, in the classroom, or virtually. I want to provide them the opportunity to go outside their personal comfort zone of learning so they can reach their fullest potential. I want to provide simple incentives for doing well in class and at home, so they know that I am proud of them. Creating a welcoming classroom environment is important for the students. This allows them to know that it is a safe space and that they can make mistakes which are needed to be able to grow.
