This carpet will be used to create an environmental in our space where we can come and gather together each day as we build our community. We will use our rug to join for read alouds, sharing about our day, listening to lessons, and sharing ideas. Kindergarten is all about moving around, centers, and movement that is needed throughout the day. This designated space will allow us to do just that so that students can be successful. I want my classroom to be a second home where students feel safe to be themselves and look forward to coming to each day.

About my class
