I teach Latin at a classical school that does not emphasize technology in the classroom. However, with the pandemic, we have needed to switch gears and support our students with technology. We have a growing list of students who need devices to engaged in hybrid learning. Students that are choosing distance learning are provided devices from the school, however, we have run short! I am requesting four tablets each with a keyboard folio and stylus. Many students are sharing computers with siblings and cannot bring their computers to school when they are in person. Though teachers have come up with great, engaging work for students across all learning options, students without devices are missing out. Many of my lessons would be more engaging with a device and students without them are feeling left out. I am in need of a few extra devices in my classroom to help students engage, which also allows me to view their results and hold them accountable to learning. It's hard to balance both in person and online grading. These devices will allow me to continue to engage students on a platform they LOVE! Please consider a small donation. ANYTHING HELPS us get closer!
