I have made my new counseling office inviting but I am still missing items. Students would love a bean bag chair for the calm down area where they can read books or use calming "toys" to help them return to class and be ready to learn. I use books during my lessons to teach students about empathy, emotions, goal setting, friendships and many other social emotional topics. These books are also used during small group and individual counseling. Many students are learning virtually and will benefit as they join our classes on Zoom. So many students will benefit from your kindness and generosity!
