Ms. G's students have access to some AMAZING programs! When we were all virtual, my students really enjoyed playing review games like Quizziz, Quizlet Live, and Kahoot! They loved watching and creating their own lyrics with Flocabulary. I, as their teacher, loved the ability to instantly check to understand with in-lesson activities like polls, Time to Climb, and interactive videos available on Nearpod. My students also love to use their extra time from early finishers to play math games like Sumdog, Reflex math to practice their fast facts, and reading their favorite books on Epic! Now that students are beginning to return to class, we have begun working on a hybrid model. Students who are doing the school-house model now are no longer one-to-one with technology. Right now, my class has to rotate the two laptops we have available. While I am so grateful that we have a few laptops to use right now, it is not enough for my in-school students to use all these amazing programs with the frequency that their online peers can. Helping us out with these tablets would really ease the technology issues we currently have with our laptops and allow all my students to be able to use technology one way or the other in class every day!
