The materials I am requesting are highly desired tools, I can utilize, while supporting my students, social, emotional, academic and personal needs. My schools counseling program offers students a wide variety resources to support the attainment of successful milestones in their lives. As students complex needs tend to increase, along with the evolving environment around them, so should the plethora of resources available to them. The most encouraging facet is with all these resources, students will learn how to increase their own self-awareness (books), self-management (fidgets/sensory objects), responsible decision making (feelings friend) and thus improve their relationships and experiences while at school, which will positively increase their learning outcomes. The donation to support Sensory Strong resources will help improve student self-management and learning outcomes.
