I teach middle school science. Due to Covid-19, we can't do group labs or share materials. Currently my 6th graders sit at individual tables, six feet apart and spend their day in one room. This is for their safety, but it doesn't allow for much movement or choice in where to sit. 12 yoga balls will allow my students to be assigned one, so they aren't sharing. They can use these to sit around the room to read, switch out their own chairs if more movement helps them focus, OR even take these outside to sit on during an outdoor lesson. My school has a large outdoor space under a tent for outdoor lessons and these would be perfect to carry out and use while we learn outdoors.
