The global, local, and personal impact of the pandemic has created an unprecedented upheaval in our students' education, yet they return to school hopeful and eager to learn. With distance learning and learning at a distance in the classroom, our usual activities, materials, and supplies must be adapted and multiplied to accommodate new health guidelines. Because they provide visual and tactile cues, the resources in this project are crucial to building an understanding of concepts and strategies for students still developing their multilingual skills. Third grade standards such as time, fractions, forces, and weather can be very abstract and contain a healthy dose of tier 3 words that present a particular challenge to those who endeavor to learn a new language. By supporting our project, not only will you help increase student engagement and wonder, but also academic achievement and drive.
