As a math teacher, being tied to the front of the room means I am unable to notice understanding problems until I have completed notes and then must backtrack or miss students who do not want to speak up to get help. The wireless tablet will release me from the front of the room and allow me to observe and immediately assess understanding as I walk around and observe the students. Students are much more willing to show me their work and understanding when not done on traditional paper methods and white boards are very popular with students as I have come to know through my use of them. These boards would replace my very worn out and beat up boards that I have used for years in my math classes.
