As I start my teaching career (my 2nd career) I am really excited to create my classroom from scratch. I am need of an easel to help me teach my second grade students. Although the district for which I work has provided content materials like books, curriculum and supplies, furniture like bookshelves, easels, anchor charts are difficult to secure. By having this type of classroom essentials, I can create a learning environment where students can have a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, because I teach bilingual Spanish for 2nd graders there is a need for an easel to demonstrate and model student learning and activities.
