These 5th graders have been imagining this school year for their whole academic career; it's their final year of elementary school! With this project, you will be helping these students to celebrate the year that they have been looking forward to. Distance learning is difficult for these kids; they are still held to rigorous academic standards, but are being denied the social outlet that brick and mortar teaching provides. This project will help bring the socialization back to the virtual classroom. We will be able to celebrate birthdays with one another - a milestone that is very important to young children. We will be able to have holiday festivities and treats like we would at school. This project will allow all students to feel special and celebrate in an otherwise stressful time.

About my class
