Our goal as a district is to create a community of lifelong readers through book talks, book clubs, and independent reading-- and it is working! My students show me that they are learning to love books and tell me they appreciate the ability to choose what they read. Every day, we dedicate time to delving deep into the magical world of literature. As a first-year teacher, I'm hoping to expand my library with relevant, high-interest titles for my avid readers! Your donation will help me create a diverse, culturally relevant library for these awesome kids.
