Due to COVID-19 and all the challenges it presents, we have decided to set up outdoor classrooms at our school. Providing an outdoor learning space allows us to continue to teach our students in the safest way possible. These portable seats will give us the opportunity to provide instruction beyond the classroom walls. They will also allow us to take walking field trips to explore our community and engage in place based education. Students will learn about their local heritage, cultures and landscapes. As teachers we will emphasize learning through participation in service projects for our school and community.

About my class
