My preschoolers learn best when provided hands on materials and activities. One of the challenges during this time is making available to them the the things I know they love about walking through the classroom doors. Among those things were books. Ready to greet them, waiting to be picked up, explored, and well loved. Giving each of my students a book of their own to follow along while I read to them, whether it is in a classroom or on Zoom, binds us together. Reading really is a discount ticket to everywhere, school, home, and beyond.
