These materials will make a difference because the students will have a friendly learning environment that is welcoming to all students who enter our classroom. The colorful book baskets are inviting. We will place them on the well-needed bookshelves for our lending library where they are encouraged to read daily. The whiteboard easel will help students to see the vocabulary words we will review when we do close reading activities and highlighted passages when we analyze characters in the passages we read. Our students who sit in the back will see the board in the front of our classroom.
