Our classroom consist of students who have autism, learning delays and disabilities. These materials will make a difference in our classroom to assist our students, who have special needs that have sensory issues, and learning delays by work towards learning new skills, goals and conquering their challenges. The students are working hard to learn and identifying letters and writing letters and their names. Each of the new learning materials can help learn beginning literacy skills. The sensory items can assist with sensory play and assist students who need an sensory output being that sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain's pathways, which lead to the child's ability to complete more complex learning tasks. Our class is a unique group who also loves hands on learning. Some of the materials will help them learn while having fun.
