My athletes love to run. They have found a sport that both pushes them mentally and physically. I teach at an inner-city school, and because of that some of my runners need running to escape their circumstances. They always show up willing to run every single day and they are some of the strongest people I know. During this time of quarantine, I have found my runners sending me updates that they wish they could run. Not because they wanted to just get out of the house, but because they just wanted to clear their mind. My athletes have found their own way to conquer and push on in life. It is a goal of mine to teach them the benefits of running and to let them begin thinking about their future. This is my way to give back to them. I would greatly appreciate any help and my runners would appreciate it more.
