Streaming live lessons has been challenging. The technology available for teachers to borrow struggles to keep up with the technological demands of full-time, online synchronous instruction. Often, my stream lags, my virtual meetings crash, and sharing my screen for live lessons leads to glitches. I know my students are excited and eager to learn, but my current technology prevents an optimal experience. By donating to this project to fund a teacher Chromebook, you will help improve the learning outcomes of 125 public school students while they are asked to learn remotely. Your contribution will help fund a modest, yet important, update to the technology that streams their live lessons, captures recorded lessons, and hosts virtual office hours. I anticipate this will reduce student frustration when my current technology lags and will allow me to focus more on their success (rather than my technology).
