These yoga mats will help students at home and in the classroom. They will be checked out during virtual learning time to help students stretch, relax and calm their minds. This is so important, especially right now when we are all dealing with anxiety from new learning arrangements. We need to teach students healthy ways to calm anxiety and deal with stress. Yoga helps us with our mental and physical wellness. In nutrition and wellness we spend 15 minutes each day focusing on mindfulness. My adding in yoga positions my student will also begin getting physical benefits as well as mental rejuvenation.
