The texts that I chose for my learners will add to my literacy based classroom environment. My class library is a space where my students enjoy independent and partner reading. The library allows my students to go "book shopping," which is a routine that lets them explore new texts and also, revisit their most loved authors! These new books will assist my students in their vocabulary development, develop their critical thinking, and overall, promote a love for books and reading! The best thing is having students back in the classroom and so, these new materials will add onto welcoming them to being fully in person!
