This school year I will be providing virtual PT services for my students in Boston. One challenging aspect of virtual PT, is that students often do not have access to the materials typically used during our in-person sessions. These yoga mats and PT tool boxes will ensure that my students have access to materials to use during their virtual sessions and when practicing skills with their families or classroom staff. I will deliver the materials to my students who are participating in a fully remote program for them to use at home. My students participating in hybrid programs will keep their materials in their classroom. By donating to my project, you will not only help my students access their PT sessions, you will ultimately help them increase their independence with mobility and motor skills. Having access to their own PT Tool Box, will increase my students' engagement and success in their virtual PT sessions and will expand the types of activities and exercises we can complete together. When we work together in person, my students are always excited to see what new motor games and activities I have for them- these PT Tool Kits will enable me to provide a variety of activities during our Virtual sessions. Thank you for supporting my students' motor development!
