Headphones with microphones for the students will help them be active participants in their speech and language therapy sessions. The nature of learning from home with so many distractions from their environment makes it difficult for many of my special education students to participate in distance learning speech and language therapy. I have a caseload of over 50 students with speech and language needs that range from speech sound errors to those who are learning to communicate basic wants and needs. All of my students are participating in their educational program via distance learning.
