I am currently teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 but I would like to tie in financial literacy into this year's curriculum. It is important that students understand what financial literacy is and how it works. Many of these lessons are interactive which requires them to actively collaborate with their peers as they move around the classroom. Standing desks will allow my students to move around more comfortably and efficiently. My students often come in groggy and/or exhausted. Standings desks will also help them stay alert and on their toes! It is imperative that students understand how to take advantage of the monetary system to their benefit.
