I will use these Chromebooks for our digital distance learning. Unfortunately, we are not able to give them 1:1 devices. Some of our scholars share one device with multiple siblings so they do not have access to the materials. These 7 devices will be given to these scholars for the year so they can have a more equitable education! These Chromebooks will allow our scholars to have access to my Google classroom where I will be teaching them tech tools that have never been in there reach previously. We will use them for EVERY SUBJECT to enhance and engage our scholars. They will be able to meet live with our Morning Meeting where they can work on their language and social emotional development. This meeting is integral to creating a classroom community that helps them feel safe and gives them a sense of belonging which is so important.
