This project is geared toward bridging the gap between the less fortunate students and those who are well off. Soccer is dying in Newark and West Side High School. I have been coaching at West Side for over 10 years and every year we are low on supplies, supplies that are easily procured by the so called better districts. We will provide our students with adequate supplies that will make them competitive and equitable in this city. Students gain a better appreciation when they see the lengths that donors go through to aid them. This can eliminate any setbacks faced by these less fortunate athletes. Their needs can be determined by each respective students' family and background. We are home to a slew of immigrants from West Africa and based on their high interest in soccer, we will connect with other leaders around our city- and the world to inspire and shape our next generation..
