Due to COVID-19, and our productions being put on pause for safety, my technical theatre students will not get the ability to build sets as usual. I would like to take this time to prepare them for virtual design and digital design. This Apple iMac computer will be able to run multiple programs like Garage Band for sound design, Final Cut Pro for projection and film, Photoshop for publicity and poster creation, as well as Arkos projection mapping software and WYSISYG Lighting design software. Currently, we do not have a computer with enough power to use any of the software we have available to its full ability. I would like to have a station for my students to obtain first-hand knowledge on software they will be working with in college and the professional world.
