Using technology with my students has proven to keep them engaged and interested in our lessons during speech, and many of them love when I implement apps that are specifically created for speech and language. I also utilize technology in my sessions to work on tasks like directed drawing with my younger students, in an effort to build upon their speech and language skillset. However, my current device is out of date and extremely limited on storage space, which poses an issue when I find fun new applications or games that could benefit my students, but I am unable to download them. Your donation would help my students by providing them with access to new and innovative resources during my synchronous sessions, which are taught virtually using a videoconferencing platform. I would be able to implement this technology to support my students during this unprecedented time with distance learning.
