These materials will facilitate multiple lab experiences around light and electricity. The Rive Ray boxes and the prisms will allow students to interact directly with refraction, and the replacement light bulbs will join with already acquired circuit kits we already have to allow for more complex designs and challenges for students to explore. Prisms and light are so relevant to students' lives. Understanding how light works and how it can be manipulated connects with students through optics, photography, and all kinds of imaging technology they use every day - from the peepholes on their front doors to their mobile phone cameras.

About my class
