As a first year teacher it is difficult to provide the quality classroom library I want for my students first hand. After speaking with my students and their parent they have expressed how they want their child's reading and writing skills to improve, and what better way to do that than to provide them with books to read independently, or hear from a read aloud. The books that I choose to start my library with will promote diversity and inclusivity. Which are the core values that I want my class to embody. I want my students to learn how to be accepting of other, and to know that our differences are what makes each and everyone of us beautiful! Not only will this project help my students have a library, but it will also provide them with a classroom experience. As a first year teacher it is difficult to supply not only students myself with materials that will enhance the education experience. The items in this cart will help my and my students stay organized, so that we all can experience an equitable learning year!
