I am old school. I love the feel and camaraderie that comes with holding a book in my hand and exploring exciting stories in new worlds. This is what I aim to give my students in our Black Literature class. We will be engaging in: The Iconic Village: 100 Years of Black Stories in Literature. With books in hand, students can take these worlds everywhere they go. They can share what they are learning anywhere and everywhere. These books are a gift to themselves and meant to be shared too.

About my class
