In my 24 years of teaching, there has always been some form of music instruction at school. Now, due to COVID-19, we are forced to not allow the parent- helpers on campus who would have taught us music through our “Music Docent” program. In place of this, I would like to teach my class basic music- notes, musical staff, rhythm, beat, etc. Having recorders for each student would be an easy and fun way to learn all of these concepts. What our world needs now is MORE MUSIC to calm our minds and bring us joy!
