These materials will be used on a weekly basis throughout the upcoming months for the school year. As these books are being read to my students, their minds will begin to be engaged through the stimulation of their imaginations and by the understanding of the world. Reading these books will also help them develop their language and listening skills which will prepare them to understand the written word. Furthermore, it is very important that I read aloud to my students as often, and whenever possible on a most needed basis.
