The items I selected will aid my students in many ways while adjusting to the new normal. The printer will allow me to print extra help sheets immediately in my room. The dry erase supplies will help the shyest of students to participate in class activities since they will have to remain in their seats socially distancing. The earbuds will allow them to use programs that have videos or aid in pronunciation by limiting noise and distractions from others in the room. They will be allowed to take these home to continue studying and completing homework assignments with out disturbing others in the home. Safety first is our motto this year so my school is implementing several hand washing and sanitizing procedures in the classroom. The hand soap dispenser will distribute a reasonable amount of soap or sanitizer in order to speed and streamline this added procedure. This will save valuable minutes that add up through the course of a day and week that can be better utilized as instructional minutes.
