When we get back to in-person teaching, we want to keep our students and their families safe. Ensuring that each student has their own school supplies that only they will touch will decrease the germs that are spread in the classroom. My student do not have desks to store their items, they work at tables. I need to make sure my students have a place to store their school supplies to keep themselves, their families, and their classmates safe. For them to each have their own Seat Sack where they can keep all of their things in one place, right at their table, would be the best way to manage the storage situation in my classroom. They won't have to move across the room to get anything, they won't have to share with their classmates. Their workbooks, crayons, pencils, writing notebooks-- everything is right there on the back of their seat. We also need crayon boxes to keep their tools and writing utensils in one place. If we need to collect supplies to go back to teaching virtually, all of the small things are right there in the pencil box for them to grab and pack.
