Coming into my first classroom I didn’t have a lot as a first year teacher. The carpet in my classroom was past time to be replaced and I would love to provide my class with a nice localized seating area for group learning. In kindergarten we spend a lot of time on our carpet exploring and learning subjects. This carpet will allow us to practice our letter sounds, words, and math strategies as a whole class and allow engagement between students such as think pair shares and turn and talks.
