My students love art class, but their favorite medium by far is paint. Each time they come to class, guaranteed at least one kiddo will ask hopefully, "Are we painting today?" Though we are working on-line, my students still deserve the opportunity to experiment with paint! The wonderful thing about paint sticks is that they provide the slickness, ability to layer, and saturation of true tempera paint minus the mess. As an artist myself, I love working with paint sticks. I know the families of my students will appreciate the beautiful bright art they make with virtually no cleanup afterwards!
