Students will learn some of the techniques and skills involved in urban art writing and they will use beautiful shapes and graphic designs to create their name. Students at my school often have unique and original spellings for their names and to see their name written artistically is a great source of pride. Students will build their self esteem and display their creativity when they create their name in graphic design, add the background, inspired by their passion. Love music? Maybe the background has musical notes floating. Like to play basketball? Maybe part of their name becomes a hoop and backboard and the background is a court.
