Our student body is comprised of grades K-5 in a small, rural North Georgia town. The community is still feeling the effects of the real estate crash as the local economy relies heavily on tourism and real estate for it's livelihood. Over half of our student body qualifies for free or reduced-cost meals. WFES students love their school and their community, and they want to bring joy and excitement to its citizens by designing, creating, and performing music, art and drama for them at no charge. In addition, our school is currently seeking STEM certification, so we are actively integrating STEM opportunities in every area of our curriculum. With your help, we can provide the materials needed to give our students the best chance at being successful in all of their creative efforts!
