These resources would allow us to first, set up a space within our classroom where students can go to decompress and process BIG feelings and emotions. Secondly, it would allow me to provide materials at each student desk that would allow them a physical tool to aid in dealing with anxiety, stress, and restlessness. Third, a journal for each student that would help guide them and teach them ways to write through and process their feelings. And finally, there are materials that would allow me to better understand and find tools that I can better teach and support my students in learning coping and processing skills.
