This is a time of incredible and shifting demands on students and teachers. Some of our students will be coming into the building for hybrid or “remote plus” learning, while others will be learning in their homes or other spaces. In trying to set up our classroom and our students for success, there’s so much that we need to help keep us safe and help us learn. Because our highest-needs students will be in the classroom with us, we need additional cleaning supplies to keep our space safe. The school district is providing us with one spray bottle and hand sanitizer per classroom, but sharing this across multiple students would break the social distancing imperatives. Extra sets of masks and disinfectants will ensure that we can learn safely. We are also creating individual supply bags for students, including whiteboards, erasers, markers, snacks, and Cuisenaire rods that will allow them to continue to learn at home or in the classroom. Thank you so much for your support as we navigate this new learning landscape!
