My students are so happy to be back in school among friends! Even though we are on a hybrid schedule, with our class split in half, it has been great to be back into the swing of things. One way that we are helping to ensure that we can stay this way is by limiting the spread of COVID and other germs by limiting shared supplies. By having an individual mouse per laptop, we can continue to work hard to protect others. The students are so concerned about one another and are doing their part! We wear masks at all times while in the building, sanitize when entering and leaving rooms, and wash often throughout the day. We are also practicing safe distancing everywhere on campus. Each student has his/her own supplies, including laptops. However, we really need to have a mouse to help with this endeavor. Also, using a mouse pad on the laptops can be tricky at times, causing added frustration. The mice would help make learning and participation increase by limiting lost time with unnecessary errors.
