A micro:bit is a tiny computer that not only teaches coding but also promotes creativity. My class is usually very hands-on, but during this pandemic and virtual teaching, hands-on teaching and learning becomes difficult. My goal is to provide a vessel of hands-on learning to each student in the form of a Micro:bit. Using Micro:bits, my students will not only learn to code with equipment other than their computer, but they can also build projects that include light-up messages, flashing lights, an accelerometer, a motion detector, and a compass.
